Mount St. Mary’s Ableist Plan To Push Out Vulnerable Students

I think it its very interesting that a catholic school would like to dismiss at risk students socially since model citizens (Saints) and the bible both preach to be welcoming to those who need help. I understand that colleges are businesses but at the same time at risk students add diversity to schools. I think the school should try to encourage students to stay in school. Newman (the president of Mount St Mary's would probably get more coverage if all his students graduated and none dropped out. I think it’s pretty terrible to already pick on students who probably need the most help and are struggling even as the semester begins. I think using depression as criteria to be advised to drop is disgraceful. People who have depression don’t ask for it and shouldn’t be penalized.
